Impressions of Chengdu

Finally, we came to Chengdu.
Chengdu is the capital of southwestern China's Sichuan province.
Chengdu is the most attractive city in China. Besides famous for lovely Panda, the charming city also features slow, pleasure, and relax, people smile a bit more.
The first thing we had to eat, we ate the spice hot pot in local restaurant. Sichuan food is renowned for being spicy, oily and packed with plenty of numbing Sichuan peppercorns, and the traditional hotpot is no exception. They explained to us :" Since Sichuan is a very damp area, such weather is bad for the bones and bad for circulation, they had to eat spicy food in order to balance out body temperature."
We  also visited  Leshan Giant Buddha, and Mt. Emei...watched famous face changing show in the Sichuan opera theater.
The city is also home to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Giant Pandas , a national treasure of China,  This was the best chance to get close to see the cute Pandas.

I bought a fresh flower crown in a town, it brightens up my day.

we are on jin-li street, a touristy street in Chengdu.

Life is good :)

Impression of the Summer Palace

The Summer Palace may not be as famous as the Forbidden City , or the Great Wall, however it is by far one of the best preserved and historical regions in Beijing.
Whenever I go to the Summer Palace, it is always wonderful.
The Summer Palace, a park (three-quarters is water) of lakes, gardens and palaces in the middle of Beijing, is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The excavated soil from the man-made Kunming Lake was used to build Longevity Hill which overlooks the park. Tourists can explore the pavilions, halls, palaces, temple, bridges and lake (by boat).
It 's on a good day when I visited there, the sky 's clear and blue.
It's beautiful and exhilarating..You never know where you're going to find anything.
