Lake Powell

History :       Lake Powell was created in 1963 when the Glen Canyon Dam held back the water of the Colorado River, forming a vast blue lake surrounded by beautiful sandstone walls on the border of Arizona and Utah. Remarkably, it took 17 years for the lake to fill the canyon to the high water mark (3700' above sea level), giving America its second largest man-made lake - and a playground like no place else on earth.

Crisp turquoise blue and vast mustard yellow define today's Half Moon Bay!

At the frequented Half Moon Bay in coastal California, the charm of the shades of vibrant blue, icy blue, crisp blue, turquoise blue, ocean blue, foamy blue, gray blue welcoming the joining of layers of lush green and wild yellow formed a compulsion calling to me, my mood, my heart and soul, and even my outfit!  :-)

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped meander of the
Colorado river located near the town of Page, Arizona.

so beautiful, a gift from mother nature!

The Colorado River surrounding Horseshoe Bend looks so serene and beautiful.

I was too scared to get closer to the edge, but can't stop taking photos.

About 10 to 15 minutes walk to the bend,
Nice little hike to see mother nature's beauty.

Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest.
It is located on Navajo land near Page, Arizona.

This place was amazing ! So beautiful.

The tour guide showed us how and where to take great photos.

The canyon is narrow and deep,
you can see light reflecting from the sky into slot.
This cave is pretty awesome, colorful  and beautiful patterns.

The canyon's vertical , winding walls were carved by
fast flowing flash flood waters.

no where else like it on earth.

This is an amazing place, a real natural wonder.
